The origins of TaeKwonDo is lay hidden in by 4,000 years of korean history. The study not only improves physical fitness and health but also employs at its highest goal inner peace and tranquillity.

The translation of "Tae"is to jump or kick; "Kwon" is to punch or strike; "Do" means way of life. Tae kwon do consists of 75% kicking techniques and 25% hand movements.

It develops balance, strength, speed, dexterity, self-confidence, respect and rhythm as well as offering both physical and mental challenges. These virtues and discipline can be very effective and productive in the lives of young ones. They can produce good grades and self-respect as well as respect for others. Ages 4 and up.
